The Department of Intelligent Information Technologies was founded on January 10, 1995. The main task of the department is to train specialists in the specialty 1-40 03 01 “Artificial Intelligence” in full-time education. Also, the staff of the department read special courses on intelligent systems for students of the specialties “Information systems and technologies in economics”, “Information systems and technologies in logistics” day and distance learning.
The department trains undergraduates in the specialty 1-40 80 06 “Artificial Intelligence” in full-time and part-time studies.
Research work at the department is carried out in the field of creation and development of semantic technologies for the development of intelligent systems. Students of the department are also involved in the research work; there is a student research laboratory (SRL).
